We have noticed in Tucson that the actual appearance of rogue security software named Live Security Platinum is preceded by the fake warning allegedly coming from Security Monitor. The message has the following content:
Be very careful at this point. This is a fake intrusion detection system (software). After you actually click “OK” the rogue program comes up that is named Live Security Platinum. Even if you don’t click “OK” this rogue will still appear, but be careful not to consider it as legitimate anti-virus application. This is a hoax pretending to be an antispyware tool. Do not pay any funds to the request.
